On Sunday, 5 Juli 2009, was held in brilliant sunshine the 1st Summer Biathlon at the site of TV1860 Fürth stadion. A total of 80 teams went to the start. Four competitions were consistently performed by 8.30-17.30 Clock. One of the party, the top-biathlet Rico Groß (5-times Olympic champion, multiple world champion) and Uschi Disl (2-times Olympic champion and multiple world champion was).
